Similar to our Intermediate-1 Training Package, the Intermediate-2 Training Package builds upon concepts introduced in our free introductory series. The Intermediate-2 package provides easy to follow instructions and practical examples on how to include transient pumping conditions, incorporate hydraulic features that allow you to simulate engineered remedial systems (e.g. trenches, slurry walls, etc.), and calibrate your groundwater model to match site data. Topics covered in the Intermediate-2 Training Package include:

• Adding a transient well
• Adding a linear barrier (both no-flow and leaky)
• Adding and analyzing flow from a trench
• Adding a pond, wetland, or discharge area
• Adding a sloping or structural base
• Calibrating a model to site data
